Symphonic Distribution was launched in 2006 by music producer from Tampa, Florida, Jorge Brea, The founder, wasn’t backed by a big record label 10 years ago when he was a DJ & Producer, and he was having trouble getting his music out.

In 2006, with no venture capital, Brea started the company out of his parents’ house that would make it easier for him and his peers to get heard in a cost effective manner.
The company has employees in Tampa, Florida, Brooklyn, New York, Madrid, Spain and has representatives in the Dominican Republic, and Colombia.

 Kodi McKinney (Partner/Co-Founder) has years of experience developing talent in the music industry. He has played an instrumental role in spearheading media campaigns within the US for domestic and international acts. From starting at The Syndicate in 2011, Kodi ultimately rose to oversee the company's marketing department including radio promotion, publicity, online properties and special events. Prior to that, he was on the editorial staff at CMJ while managing its nationwide network of college radio stations.

Hannah Angst, Head of Digital at Girlie Action Media & Management, spearheads Playlist Promotions, Social Media Strategy, Media Buys and oversees the Creative Content staff for the companies expansive roster of established and emerging artists. Prior to joining Girlie Action in 2016, she was a Project Manager at Communion Records US and the Editor in Chief of the independent music blog The Wild Honey Pie.Â
